Dental Implant in the Anterior Esthetic Zone

Case ID: 3075

Case Details

A patient’s main concern at the moment is his maxillary left central incisor which is causing him a great amount of pain. The patient wishes to extract the tooth followed by the immediate placement of a dental implant. Upper anterior (front) dental implant cases in combination with the natural dentition (teeth) are the most challenging and difficult cases in implant dentistry since esthetics and the appearance is the primary concern for the patients. Here, the soft tissue shrinkage that normally occurs after a tooth extraction has been greatly minimized due to proper implant placement and care. Futhermore, the patient chose an implant prosthesis color shade to match his lightest natural tooth in his mouth.
