Case Details

An external (lateral window) sinus lift procedure is performed by creating an access hole from the side of the sinus cavity intraorally and carefully elevating or lifting of the sinus or schneiderian membrane. Once lifted, a mixture of autogenous bone (autograft) along with bone substitute material (BSM) is placed under the membrane at the proposed implant site which is then followed by the placement of a traditional sized dental implant. It is the desire of the patient to choose the lightest shade color.
