Case Details

For this patient, all the remaining natural teeth are extracted, alveoloplasty (reduction and contouring) of the bony alveolar ridge is performed, 8 dental implants (traditional endosteal or root-form implants) are then placed, and finally an oral prosthesis in this case, a full-arch fixed (screw-retained) implant prosthesis (i.e., implant bridge) is fabricated and delivered. The fixed prosthesis classification for this particular patient is of type FP-3 which restores both the teeth and the gums.
