The patient has a fractured tooth #7 and therefore is extracted. A dental implant is then placed (restoration) on the same day of the extraction of the tooth. An abutment and implant crown is then connected to the implant.

Description: Tooth #7 was extracted due to extensive decay and could not be saved. Tooth was extracted and an endosteal implant was immediately placed at the site. Once adequate healing has occurred and proper care was performed at the site the implant was finally restored with a permanent implant crown.
