Extraction of Upper Teeth with Immediate Placement of Implants for an “All-on-6” Full-Arch Fixed Implant Prosthesis

Case ID: 4266

Individual results may vary.

Case Details

For this particular patient, a non-invasive flapless surgical approach was performed. This approach is advantageous since it minimizes post-operative discomfort or pain and minimizes healing time and as a result, it reduces the overall downtime for the patient. This surgery was performed free-handedly and no surgical guide (aka surgical template) was fabricated or utilized which in most cases, needs the “gums” or soft tissue to be opened or separated from the bone (open flap surgery) to allow it to be attached and anchored to the bone so that it could be used. Hence, a free-handed approach minimizes or even eliminates any surgical cutting or incisions to be made thus creating the advantages mentioned above.
